They contain an outstanding collection of sermons, sermon notes, and illustrations. The 130 sermons compose about one-half of the material. The correspondence section was used extensively for research in the writing of his biography, "A. C. Dixon, a Romance of Preaching", by Helen C. A. Dixon. The manuscript of this book is also in the collection.
