Records include committee minutes, medical records, correspondence, testing records, publications and reports. Collection is comprised of paper materials.

This collection deals with aspects of medical experimentation using human subjects. The use of plutonium injections is questioned medically and ethically. A final report that summarized the committee's finding, entitled "REport of the UCSF Ad Hoc Fact Finding Commitee on World War II Human Radiation Experiments," was presented in a press conference on February 23, 1995. It was later amended in September 1995.
