    Gloria Williams (1903-1979) (later known as Adah Anderson) was a contract player for Paramount Pictures in the 1930s and later had small film and television roles into the 1960s. She was married first to actor Walter Hiers (1893-1933) and later to Ernest Anderson.

    Scope and Contents

    This small collection contains photographs and ephemera related to the acting careers of Gloria Williams (1903-1979) and Walter Hiers (1893-1933). Materials include stills and photographs, 2 broken glass magic lantern slides for "The Mysterious Miss Terry" (1917), and two concert programs and a classic film booklet (1972). There are also some call sheets and pay slips for Williams' work in the 1940s-1960s. Box 2 contains 16 lobby cards for the short subject "Short Change" (1924) and oversize photographs.
