    Abstract: The Trojan Marching Band realia and scrapbooks consist of a variety of material created and/or assembled by the USC Trojan Marching Band from 1925 to 2004. The collection includes helmets and uniforms dating back to the 1940s, photographs, artifacts, sheet music, scrapbooks, mementos, plaques, and publications. Parts of this collection were removed from exhibit cases in the USC Trojan Marching Band's old offices in Stonier Hall, which displayed materials celebrating the achievements of Robert F. Jani and Tommy Walker -- both USC alumni and later successful events directors. The oldest items in the collection include a 1925 photograph of the Trojan Marching Band performing in Santa Claus attire after a December football victory, panoramic group portraits of the Trojan Marching Band and USC's Glee Club from the 1930s, and photographs and clippings from Tommy Walker's youth during the 1930s and 1940s.
