Scope and content:

The collection consists of train tables, tourist brochures, horse racing programs, maps, and other historical pamphlets from Southern California, dating from 1896 through the early 1930s. Locations include Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles and environs, such as Mt. Lowe and Mt. Wilson, and Newport Beach.
