This collection contains 99 photographs, some from a scrapbook of George Fujimori's time serving in the Military Intelligence Service in World War II. The photographs show him in the Military Intelligence Language School in Fort Snelling and in Japan and the Philippines.

Biographical / historical:

George Fujimori was born in 1920 in California, the son of Japanese immigrants. In 1942, George and his family were forcibly removed from their homes and sent to Manzanar. George joined the Military Intelligence Service (MIS). After receiving his basic training, George was sent to the Philippines, where he interrogated Japanese POWs. He passed away in 2012.
