Larry Agran is a former mayor and city councilman of the city of Irvine, California and former Democratic candidate for the 1992 US presidency.
Agran served on the Irvine City Council between 1978 and 1990, 1998 and 2014, and was elected to the City Council again in 2020. He was also mayor of Irvine from 1982 to 1984, 1986 to 1990, and 2000 to 2004.
Agran was also the chair of the board of directors of the Orange County Great Park from 2004 to 2010. The board was charged with planning, constructing, and operating a new park at the former Marine Corps Air Base El Toro in Irvine.
