The Radical Newspaper Collection consists of newspapers and periodicals related to activism, counterculture, and social movements in the United States. The bulk of the collection spans the years 1965 to 1974 and primarily includes small-run, underground publications created by activist, political, or social organizations and student groups. A large portion of the collection highlights materials published in California, particularly Berkeley and the San Francisco Bay Area.
