This is a collection of three handbound scrapbooks containing theater playbills, concert programs and related materials saved by Amy Josephine Klauber (Salz) b.1872 - d.1928. also known as Mrs. Melville Klauber. Her husband, Melville Klauber, was a San Diego civic leader and businessman. The materials cover dramatic and musical performances, and later included travel diary entries and ephemera such as fashion, travel, and tourist site brochures. The venues were primarily in San Diego but included Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Italy, and London.
