John L. Rinn (born Oct. 20, 1922; died Nov. 12, 2000) was a Sonoma County therapist and workshop leader. He founded and led the Sonoma County barbershop quartet, the Rinntones, which performed numerous of Rinn's arrangements of popular songs. Rinn also arranged and performed jazz and pop music for piano. Rinn served as a workshop leader for artist and dancer Anna Haprin's summer dance workshops at Sea Ranch in the late 1960s and early 1970s. (Source: Worth, Libby, and Helen Poyer.
