Manuscripts, newsletters, pamphlets, correspondence, flyers, notes, and interviews documenting journalistic activities of theater director and writer, Leland Moss, 1976-1980. Moss wrote for various publications, including Gaysweek (New York) and the L.A. Weekly. The bulk of the collection consists of copies of articles written by Moss.

Biographical / historical:

Leland Moss was a theater director, writer, and gay activist best known for The AIDS Show, "an acclaimed series of songs, monologues and short scenes," which he directed in San Francisco in 1984. He died in 1990 at the age of 41.
