An artificial collection of trade catalogs and manuals either accompanying artifacts in the museum's collection, or directly related to the history of the Santa Clara Valley. Industries and businesses represent agriculture, nurseries, transportation, architecture and design, household appliances, communications and assorted local retail and industry.

- The items in this collection have been donated by multiple individuals over the lifetime of the San Jose Historical Museum and its successors.
