    John Zamecnik (1872-1953) was an American composer and conductor. He is best known for the photoplay music he composed for pianists, organists, and orchestras during the silent film era. He composed music for films like "The Rough Riders" (1927), "Redskin" (1929), and "Cowboy from Brooklyn" (1938). Zamecnik's music has been used for characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
