Scope and content:

Clippings from newspapers and other publications pasted within two oversize volumes regarding the commercial and residential development of the City of Lakewood, California, in the early 1950s.

Acquisition information:
The USC Libraries Architecture Fine Arts (AFA) Library transferred this collection to Special Collections on December 5, 2024. The exact date of USC's original acquisition of the material is unknown. In 2024, AFA personnel could not locate any gift agreements or other documents relating to the acquisition.
Processing information:

The two volumes in this collection were originally bolted together. In 2025, the USC Libraries unscrewed the metal bolts from the volumes and rehoused the two separated volumes into two boxes.
