Book of registry of deaths in Los Angeles in the public cemetery from 1869 to 1879 and in private cemetery grounds from 1879 to 1884. The book was donated to the museum in 2000 as the registry has been preserved on microfilm in the County Clerk's office, Los Angeles County. Some or all of the graves listed in the registry may have been moved from Fort Moore Hill to Rosedale Cemetery. The book is in fragile condition and should be handled as little as possible. A photocopy of the entire registry is enclosed in the box with the volume.
