Physical Description: The envelope is extremely damaged and torn, and all pages of the letter have a large tear through them.

Private Sturges Phoenix Taggart, United States Army (b. June 14) was born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He attended the Marquette
Law School in Milwaukee. He served in France during the First World War with Supply Company, 120th Field Artillery, 2nd Battalion,
United States Army.
