Scope and content:

This collection consists of the records and realia of Sigma Theta Tau at the University of Southern California. These records include programs, certificates, clippings, photographs, a floppy disk, a VHS tape, and printed ephemera. The realia include graduation stoles, cords, and tassels, as well as stickers and a plaque.

Biographical / historical:

The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (ΣΘΤ) is an international nursing organization that started at Indiana University in 1922. It was active at the University of Southern California for graduate students in the nursing department. Members were invited by being a part of the top 35% of their cohort and achieving academic excellence.
