    Biography

    Irene, born Irene Lentz and also known as Irene Gibbons, was an American costume designer active from the 1930s to early 1960s. She received Oscar nominations for costume design for B. F.'S DAUGHTER (1948) and MIDNIGHT LACE (1960).
