Description
This collection contains the papers of American film and television producer Robert Sisk (1903-1964). Materials include screenplays,
screen treatments, scripts, miscellaneous production materials relating to "The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp" television
series (1957-1959), personal scrapbooks, catalogues of unproduced properties, publicity photographs from motion pictures,
television, and stage productions; photographs with various show business personalities, correspondence and film production
materials, assorted papers relating to the Screen Producers Guild, plaques, books, and magazines.
Background
Robert Sisk (1903-1964) was an American film producer. He produced films like "Five Came Back" (1939) and "The Marines Fly
High" (1940). Sisk was also a production associate on films "Little Women" (1933) and "Annie Oakley" (1935). In the late 1950s
he produced two television series for MGM, "The Californians" and "The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp."
