- Biographical / historical:
-
Isaac G. Davidson (1845-1922) was an accountant for one of Portland's largest printing shops and owned a successful Portland photography studio. Though Davidson published these photographs, it is unclear if he actually was the photographer. He was known for hiring some of the best photographers of the time for his projects, including Andrew Wulzen, a former assistant to photographer Carleton Watkins.
