A discussion group formed in the 1930s made up of Bay Area (Stanford, San Francisco, Berkeley, Davis/Sacramento) scientists with an interest in evolutionary biology. John Thomas served as group archivist. Many past recording secretaries, membership chairs, and members donated their files to him to maintain.
