Abstract:

This collection contains the papers of Thuy Vo Dang, professor of Library and Information Studies at UCLA, Asian American Studies scholar, oral historian, and former curator of the UCI Libraries Southeast Asian Archive. She was the founding director of the Vietnamese American Oral History Project at UC Irvine. She co-authored A People's Guide to Orange County (UC Press, 2022) and Vietnamese in Orange County (Arcadia, 2015). Her papers include publications, correspondence, and other materials related to her research, teaching, nonprofit service, and public speaking.
