Scope and content:

This collection consists of theater playbills for plays in the United States during the 20th century. These include playbills for the Lindy Opera House, the Huntington Hartford Theatre, the Civic Light Opera, the Biltmore Theater, Las Palmas Theatre, Carthy Circle Theatre, the Belasco Theatre, and many, many more. There are also a number of issues of the theatre magainze "The Playgoer."
