Scope and content:

This collection consists of signed and unsigned photographs of various Hollywood actors. Photographs include headshots of Philippe de Lacy, Dolores del Rio, Billie Burke, Mary Pickford, and Janet MacLeod. Also included is a film still from Seventh Heaven (1927), and a group photo with signatures on the back including those of Ethel Wales, Happy Miller, and Fred Richter.

Originally part of the Ethel Barrymore Memorial Theatre Arts Collection at the University of Southern California Library 100 Series, and was labeled 100-34 .

Biographical / historical:

Millie Hudson Brown (1876-1959) was born Eliza Millie Bayliss in England. She married Englishman Henry Charles Hudson and eventually moved to Southern California. Many of the photographs are inscribed to Millie B. Hudson, relationship to show business is unknown.
