Scope and content:

This collection contains four handwritten drafts and one published book by R. Michael Gordon, a local author and graduate of CSU Dominguez Hills. Included in this collection is "The Poison Murders of Jack the Ripper" (draft); "Alias- Jack the Ripper, The Whitechapel Killer" (draft); "The American Murders of Jack the Ripper" (draft); "The Thames Torso Murders" (draft); and "The Infamous Burke and Hare" (published copy).

Biographical / historical:

R. Michael Gordon was born in Ontario, Canada and lived in England for a few years before moving to Los Angeles, California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Geography at California State University at Dominguez Hills.
