Scope and content:

This collection includes audio and video recordings of rock music and rock musicians that were collected by Eric Greenberg. The collection has strong focuses on Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Neil Young, but many other musicians are represented. The recordings are presented in a variety of media, including audiocassettes, compact discs, VHSâ„¢ tapes, DVDs, BluRay discs, and records. In addition, there is a videocassette recorder, a record player, and a compact disc player. The collection also includes a small collection of books and magazines on topics related to rock music.

Biographical / historical:

Greenberg was born in New York City in 1963, raised in Parsippany, New Jersey, and graduated from the University of Michigan Business School in 1985. He lived most of his adult life in the Malibu area, and died on February 28, 2010.
