Album containing photographs including those from his time as a student at the University of California, College of Agriculture (now the University of California, Davis)

Biographical / historical:

John E, Porter was born July 20, 1894 and died on January 17, 1981. He was a well known storyteller. Friends throughout the state would request his stories. During World War II, he wrote "The Crummy Chronicle" which was said to be the best news from home. After being a cattle rancher for many years he became an engineer.
