Schedule for the funeral train (consisting of pilot engine and cortege train) of Abraham Lincoln, via the Cleveland & Erie Railroad, April 28, 1865. The pilot engine left Erie at 2:15 a.m. and arrived in Cleveland at 6:50 a.m., traveling a distance of 95-1/2 miles.

Funeral procession: Lincoln's funeral train stopped in Cleveland on its way from Washington, D.C. to Springfield, Illinois. The train arrived at Cleveland's Union Depot at 6:50 AM on April 28, 1865. A public viewing and memorial service were held at Public Square, and the procession included a hearse drawn by four white horses, a Guard of Honor, and a 36-gun salute.
