This collection consists of scripts and some related production files for 44 episodes of the television series "I Spy" used by Morton Fine (1916-1991) in his role as a producer and writer on the show. The scripts date from 1964 to 1968, and while the earlier episodes are reflected by scripts only (Box 1 and Box 2, Folders 1-8), later episodes include additional documents such as notes, work orders, revisions, staff and cast lists, correspondence, shooting schedules, and production reports. A detailed inventory of the collection is housed in Box 1.

Morton Fine (1916-1991) was an American screenwriter and producer. He first started writing radio programs before moving to film and television. He wrote and produced episodes of the television series "I Spy," which starred Robert Culp and Bill Cosby as government secret agents and appeared on NBC for three seasons from 1965 to 1968. Fine also wrote the movie "The Pawnbroker" (1964).
