Scope and content:

Records of the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group (NCNMLG) include Joint Meeting planning documents, programs and final reports; membership directories, versions of the Policy and Procedure manual, photographs, and various documents on CD, zip drive, and 3.5" floppy disks.

Biographical / historical:

The first meeting of the Medical Librarians of the Bay Area took place November 12, 1947 in the library of the California State Department of Public Health, San Francisco. Known now as the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group, NCNMLG is an organization of individuals interested in and committed to the provision of quality health care information.

Acquisition information:
Transferred by Rebecca Davis, an officer of NCNMLG, in 2014.
