Stewart's exhibit of images was hosted at the North County LGBTQ Resource Center, Oceanside, California, May 05, 2012.

    Biographical Note

    Gerald D. Stewart became involved in the LGBT community after the man who attacked him in 1991 went to trial in 1993.

    Scope and Contents

    The collection consists of laser color photographic prints of Gerald D. Stewart's exhibit of images with captions of the Pink Ink event at ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives, May 04, 2003. The images include activists, authors, and ONE Archives volunteers, including Ivy Bottini, Fred Bradford, Lee Glaze, Michael Kearns, Craig Lofton, Matt Knowlton, Felice Picano, Christopher Rice, Yolanda Retter, Gerald D. Stewart, Jewel Thais-Williams, Stuart Timmons, and Tony Valenzuela. Stewart's exhibit of images, Activism Comes in Many Colors, was hosted at the North County LGBTQ Resource Center, Oceanside, California, May 05, 2012. The collection also includes an image from the Center reception, with David Blasban, Carolyn Bolton, Max Disposti, Curtis Fitzgerald, Matt Knowlton, and Gerald D. Stewart.
