Scope and content:

Most of the papers in this collection relate to librarianship in the Latino/a community. There are publications and reports from a number of different groups. There is also a large amount of realia, including toys and decorative items. Of special interest are several Japanese magazines about lowrider culture.

Biographical / historical:

Norma Corral was a UCLA librarian who served on the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Chicano Studies Research Center. In 2001 she was named LAUC-LA Librarian of the Year by her colleagues.
