This collection contains 9 cartons (boxes 1-9) of newspapers, newsletters and magazines collected by the UCSB library's Colección Tloque Nahuaque. The periodicals range from the late 1800s to the early 2000s and are relevant to Latino and Chicano studies. They are arranged alphabetically by title. The collection includes a list of the periodicals that are available in the library's microfiche holdings as well as paper copies. Box 9 contains a list of the periodicals, alphabetized by title.
This collection also contains 4 boxes (boxes 10-13) of newspapers collected by Manuel A. Parsons in the course of his community work and activism in San Diego, CA from 1980-1995.
