Background

Scope and content:

Established in 1988, Menโ€™s Associated Exchange (MAX) was a gay menโ€™s social club best known for hosting small events, sponsoring travel and publishing the MAX Report. MAX organized hundreds of activities and boasted almost 1,000 members at its peak. The organization disbanded at the end of 2009. This collection contains correspondence with beneficiaries; awards; materials related to MAX activities and outreach events; Board materials, including meeting agendas and minutes; and administrative records, including by-laws, membership surveys and financial records.
