Materials date from 1960s-early 1980s with the bulk of material from the 1970s.

Names of the publications include, but are not limited to: Zog Newsletter, Western Surfing Association's (WSA) Seabreeze, National Scholastic Surfing Association's (NSSA) Surflines, and Surfscenes and Waves magazine and newspaper.
