The collection includes a five-volume record of the 1993 reorganization of the Division of Biological Sciences and materials
related to the 2005 creation of the College of Biological Sciences. Collection also includes digital files from Thomas Rost,
former Associate and Executive Associate Dean of the College of Biological Sciences.
The College of Biological Sciences is one of the four Colleges of the University of California, Davis. It is home to five
departments: Evolution and Ecology; Microbiology and Molecular Genetics; Molecular and Cellular Biology; Neurobiology,
Physiology and Behavior; and Plant Biology.
All applicable copyrights for the collection are protected under chapter 17 of the U.S. Copyright Code. Requests for
permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Head of Special Collections. Permission
for publication is given on behalf of the Regents of the University of California as the owner of the physical items. It is
not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained by the researcher.
