The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County's mission is to fight social injustice through civil legal advocacy for people living in poverty.

A private non-profit law firm, Legal Aid has provided legal services to low-income families, seniors, adults and children with disabilities, and domestic violence survivors since 1959.
