Background

Scope and content:

Symphony Parnassus initiated in 1965 as the Doctors Symphony, it was renamed Symphony Parnassus in 1999. It is made up of amateur and professional musicians from the faculty, staff and student body of UCSF. The collection contains ephemera in the form of posters, programs, flyers and postcards promoting Symphony Parnassus' performances. Photographs of an undated performance and discs containing design work are also included.
