Hadden was Roberti's senior advisor on AIDS and gay rights issues. The bulk of this collection is from 1986 to 1989. This collection contains material on AIDS-related legislative and budgetary processes, and correspondence with constituents, as well as a large amount of subject files. This collection is an important record of AIDS activism in California during a very critical period, 1983 through 1991.
