Background

Scope and content:

This collection contains pamphlets and publications donated by an unknown donor. Three of the six publications are cartoon books done by Bill Maudlin. There are also two military published books about the 442nd Regimental Team and the 92nd Infantry Division. There is also a newspaper from the Yank Army Weekly publication.

The materials are all from 1944-1945 and are materials that a soldier would have acquired while in service. One of the Bill Maudlin books says property of Tomio Gohata on the inside cover, possibly signifying an original owner.
