- Abstract:
- The Cal State LA University Student Union, established in 1975, is an on-campus organization consisting of multiple facilities and resource centers such as the Cross Cultural Centers, Center for Student Involvement, Gender and Sexuality Resource Center, and Associated Students Incorporated. The mission of the Cal State LA Student Union is to encourage social, cultural, recreational, and educational programming for Cal State LA students in addition to being a space where students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests can meet and explore issues pertaining to the wider Los Angeles community. This collection represents many of the student-run events hosted by various Cal State LA Student Union organizations taking place both on and off campus.

The materials in this collection were created from 1995 – 2018. The bulk of the collection consists of Cal State LA event flyers from the University Student Union. Additionally, it contains cultural graduation brochures as well as seasonal event calendars from the University Student Union and ASI. Additionally there is a small collection of ephemera, such as a promotional Student Union metal button.
Series I: Flyers Inclusive Dates: 1995 - 2018 Arrangement: Chronological
This series consists of event flyers from the Cal State LA University Student Union advertising events and activities hosted by various campus organizations including the Cross Cultural Centers, Center for Student Involvement, the Women's Resource Center, Black Student Union, M.E.Ch.A., and many others.
Series II: Cultural Graduation Brochures Inclusive Dates: 1999 - 2017 Arrangement: Chronological
This series consists of Cal State LA cultural graduation brochures from Black Grad, Pride Grad, Asian Pacific Islander Grad, and Raza Grad.

This series consists of seasonal event calendars from the Cal State LA University Student Union and ASI.
