This collection consists of the scripts of screenwriter and television producer Liam O'Brien (1913-1996). These include scripts for the television series "Police Story," as well as research that went into the series. O'Brien also worked on "Miami Vice," "Here Comes the Groom" (1951), "The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker" (1959), and "Johnny Midnight."

Biographical / historical:

Liam O'Brien (1913-1996) was an American screenwriter and television producer. O'Brien was a producer for the television series "Miami Vice" and "Police Story." He also wrote the screenplays for the film "Here Comes the Groom" (1951); the Broadway play "The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker" (1959); and television series "Johnny Midnight" and "Police Story." His younger brother is actor and film producer Edmond O'Brien.
