Background

Scope and content:

A collection of materials relating to and produced by leftist organizations in Israel from the 1970s into the early 1990s. Included are books (catalogued separately), newspapers, magazines, newsletters, pamphlets, mimeographed flyers and announcements, newspaper clippings, photocopied articles, posters, and other ephemeral materials, in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. The collection also contains several file folders of materials documenting specific events (e.g. demonstrations in 1982 and 1983), organizations (e.g. CAMPUS, Moked, Shasi), and movements (e.g. women's liberation). It also includes several published volumes of Moshe Sharett's official diary.
