Scope and content:

The Ralph J. Wyatt California Missions Lantern Slides contains 10 lantern slides, the original box, and an order slip from Mrs. DeGreene of Santa Monica City Schools requesting the lantern slides for instructional use. The lantern slides were produced by Ralph Judson Wyatt, Commerical Photographer based at 82 South Pasadena Ave., Pasadena, CA.

Lantern slides depict Los Angeles Mission Church, Colton Hall, Pala Mission Chapel, San Antonio Mission, San Buena Ventura Mission, San Fernando Mission, and Santa Ynez Mission. The collection also includes slides taken in Monterey of Alta California's first capitol building, the first brick building, and Governor Larkins' home.
