Scope and content:

Three photograph albums documenting several generations of the Rodriguez family, a Mexican American family living in Los Angeles. Photographs depict home life and social activities in South Los Angeles, Glendale, and other neighborhoods; weddings and baby christenings; and other family events. There are also school photographs of children and photographs of family members in military uniform.

Biographical / historical:

Alma Rodriguez was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1935, the daughter of Manuel N. Rodriguez and Enriqueta (Henrietta) Guillén. She had two older brothers, Manuel and Raul; and a younger sister, Norma. She was married to Roland Sarlot and the couple had one son, Roland J. Sarlot.
