Biographical / historical:

Irving Brecher (1914-2008) was an American screenwriter. He created, produced, and was head writer for the original radio and early TV edition of "The Life of Riley." Brecher wrote for the Marx Brothers comedy act including their vaudeville, Broadway, and motion pictures.
