Scope and content:: This collection is comprised chiefly of school directories for the L.A. City Schools from the 1880s to 1961. Most of the directories include the names and addresses of schools within the city of Los Angeles along with names and addresses of principals and teachers. Also items from other education entities including a program for the California Teachers' Association, 1931; and a booklet containing Rules and Regulations of the Los Angeles Board of Education, 1900.
