It includes a scrap book of news clippings spanning from 1983-2004 and various publications relating to AIDS treatment and care.

Scope and content:

1 scrapbook containing over 20 years of news clippings (1983-2004) relating to the AIDS epidemic. It was compiled by Michael Wisdom, a long term survivor of the virus. Includes various publications, mostly newsletters (HIV Positive; Project Inform; amfAR; Quest), miscellaneous single issues of newsletters and magazines; articles related to AIDS drugs and impersonal correspondence.

This collection was donated to the UCSF Archives and Special Collections by Laura Abernathy (sister of Don Michael Wisdom) in 2021.
