- Biographical / historical:
-
Debroah Rosen and her husband, Sherwin Z. Rosen, moved to the Palos Verdes Peninsula in 1966. Rosen's research was inspired by her decision to relocate from the historically Jewish enclave of Beverlywood in Beverly Hills, California to Palos Verdes.
Rosen's materials generally focus on Congregation Ner Tamid of the South Bay, a Conservative Synagogue established in 1961. The congregation had no permanent location until its current location located at 5721 Crestridge Road in Rancho Palos Verdes was constructed in 1978.
