Scope and content:: The collection contains two main parts. The first consists of annual reports from conferences in the 1850s and 1860s. The second includes pamphlets and booklets on specific missions and missionaries.
Biographical / historical:: Nelson Dreier served in various leadership capacities in the Congregational Church, including Washington and Southern California along with Hawaii. For similar materials, see the GTU’s rare book collection and the GTU historic pamphlet collection (A5 .G78 Box 30, 39 ).
Acquisition information:: The collection was donated by Nelson Dreier in May 1994. The pamphlets and booklets are annual conference reports and histories or memorials of specific missions and missionaries.
